The Green Machine was pretty popular in my neighborhood as a child.  It was either that or the Big Wheel.  You had to have one or the other.  I suppose its like kids today with X-Box or Wii.

They’re making a comeback, with new episodes debuting this fall.

When they first appeared 20 years ago, I thought B&B were about the funniest thing on tv.  At the time I was responsible for hiring interns - many of them in their teens.  Those 2 squiggly drawn characters were identical to the Gen X youth I worked with on a daily basis.  I was amused and confounded by what they thought was humorous.

So a couple of decades later, I have a pair of teenagers living in my house.  It’s been years since I watched the show.  Now, I’m horrified to think that Beavis and Butt-head might remind me of my own offspring.  I’m pretty sure one of my boys has an AC/DC t-shirt.
